About The classES
The Level 1 HoopGirl Workout offered is a 'no experience necessary' class. It will teach you how to hoop on your waist, your chest, your arms, legs, neck
- wherever you want to!
It deeply encourages freedom of movement & self-expression while at the same time helps you to build your own inner-confidence and power. It allows you to explore your body and to develop your own style of dance, using the medium of the hoop as a dynamic tool for exercise.
The class allows for dedicated 1-on-1 attention and detailed instruction for each participant.You will experience dancing while hooping, with plenty of time to master the different moves/tricks.
Each class invites you to increase awareness in a different part of the body, while focusing on a different principle i.e breathe, express, imagine.
The classes include sections for learning new hoop-tricks, team-building exercises and performance opportunities, while dancing to a diverse range of music.
The benefits of hooping are well documented. It works 35 key muscles throughout the body, it strengthens all core stability, trims the legs and the butt and also releases 'feel good' endorphins as you spin and hoop! Your arms become stronger, your back and abs more defined and you become more flexible. Cardiovascular endurance/strength is also increased!
